It seemed like almost overnight Colbis went from being a childhood nickname to a full blown photography business. From taking photos of cars and friends, to producing tens of thousands of images a year for hundreds of clients.
Hey, I’m Colbe. I’m so glad that you are here checking out my work. I've been doing photography from the Toledo, OH area since late 2010. However, I have been fortunate enough to do my craft all over the country. Born in Ohio, I have loved this area since I was young. I went to college originally for IT but ended up discovering photography and ever since then, I have never found anything I enjoy more day in and day out.
In 2016 I decided to take Colbis Photo to a full time business. At the time primarily working with wedding couples helping them have the most phenomenal experience possible. I’ve been privileged to work at some of the most amazing venues in the Toledo, Ohio area! Venues such as Nazareth Hall, The Stables, The Toledo Zoo, Holland Gardens, and Birchwood Meadows. Focusing on creating beautiful images for my couples with a natural timeless look for something that they could cherish not only today but 20 years from now. I am still photographing weddings for a select number of couples per year. Couples who truly value what I do, trusting my insight and advice from photographing nearly 200 weddings in my career.
Since 2020 I have diversified my business by moving further into the corporate marketing world. I have always enjoyed working with small businesses in Northwest, Ohio. Focusing mostly on helping companies create a beautiful plethora of images and videos to compliment their style.
For photo: we have an eye for detail to see what your clients want, experience with posing and direction to ensure your team or products look their best, high quality multi light setups to help our clients stand out from their competition and all with high megapixel cameras and impressively sharp lenses that showcase all of the above.
With video: we can output 4k footage, drone photo/video, stabilizers for clean movement, teleprompters for interviews, and multi video light setups that add a cinematic feel!

My life outside of work has been a blessing I never could have imagined for myself! Planting my roots in Perrysburg with my wonderful wife Colleen and our two cats, Thelma and Louise. Colleen now helps behind the scenes and I can’t say enough about how she has made my life all the more amazing!
When I’m not filming videos for clients or taking images that define a brand, I have a plethora of hobbies. From lifting weights, 3D printing, spending time with friends and family, competing in USPSA competitions, and more recently gardening and growing my own food!
